I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (L.M.F.T.) Prior to receiving my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University, I was both an educator and a training specialist. I have received specialized training in issues related to parenting and couples relationships. I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator-Candidate. For more information about The Daring Way, see my News page. I have also completed an intensive training course in Postpartum Depression conducted by Karen Kleiman, co-author of the book, This Isn't What I Expected and director of the Postpartum Stress Center. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work extensively with clients experiencing depression and anxiety related to specific life circumstances and transitions.
In addition to providing therapeutic services, as a former educator and corporate trainer, I am uniquely qualified to offer psychoeducational training. I am a Certified Connections Facilitator Candidate and would love to work with your group, church, or business to increase connection and creativity, allowing for an environment that encourages daring! Additionally, please contact me for more information about training in postpartum stress and depression, parenting young children, interpersonal relationships, couple dynamics and communication techniques, and restoring sexual intimacy after the birth of children.
